Riverdale residents enjoy an easy communite and access to Manhattan, as well as easy access to Westchester, Connecticut and New Jersey. New York City subway lines 1 and 9 run into the neighborhood at 231st Street. New York City Transit buses travel along most of Riverdale Avenue and Henry Hudson Parkway. Metro North Train provide many residents with fast and easy access to Grand Central Station. The two Riverdale stops, Spuyten Duyvil and Riverdale are located along the Hudson River, with a connection bus called RailLink which runs through the neighborhood. Express buses also service both east and west sides of Riverdale.
